Thanks Jano ! It works, but I have overfull box warnings in the log file 
with italics, as :

Overfull \hbox (7.80241pt too wide) in paragraph at lines 178--179
  <1: DejaVuSerif @ 12.0pt> sciences (<12: DejaVuSerif-Italic @ 12.0pt> 
phi-lo-so-phia mar-ga-ri-ta<1: DejaVuSerif @ 12.0pt> ), voire même comme 
une <12: DejaVuSerif-Italic @ 12.0pt> sa-gesse<1: DejaVuSerif @ 12.0pt>

I am currently writing a French manual in philosophy. I need French, 
German an Ancient greek, arabic, chinese fonts on to achieve this work.
