When you enumerations in this form
\beginanswer
\answer $10$
\endanswer
you have to finish the paragraph, e.g. by adding \par
\beginanswer
\answer $10$\par
\endanswer
or better use the start/stop commands for the enumeration.
\beginanswer
\startanswer

\stopanswer
\endanswer
