A question for the hardcore members. On http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Manuals I read:
ConTeXt Sources (MkII)
Apart from the manuals, the source files (especially, some of the old ones) contain excellent documentation and examples. If you want a pretty printed pdf of a source file, say core-rul.tex, you can type
texmfstart texexec --module kpse:core-rul.tex
But this apparently doesn’t work any more (i.e., I simply entered that line in the Mac terminal and nothing happened). Am I doing something wrong?
Robert

I'm afraid so. I need XeTeX for its support of Indic fonts. And for my purposes MkII is already very, very nice.

BTW, I tried –

as mentioned on http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Manuals, but the server does not respond.

hm...ok.
The main entry point is mtxrun :
$> mtxrun --script
So for mkii we have
$> mtxrun --script texexec ....
$> mtxrun --script texfont ...
For modules
$ mtxrun --script modules
mtx-modules | ConTeXt Module Documentation Generators 1.00
mtx-modules |
mtx-modules | --convert convert source files (tex, mkii,
mkiv, mp) to 'ted' files
mtx-modules | --process process source files (tex, mkii,
mkiv, mp) to 'pdf' files
mtx-modules | --prep use original name with suffix
'prep' appended
mtx-modules | --direct use old method instead of extra
mtx-modules |
mtx-modules |
mtx-modules | More information about ConTeXt and the tools that come
with it can be found at:

In any case, too old (its main purpose was testing mkii)

the other languages in indic will probably be supported in a couple of
weeks (basics are there but a bit of extra code is needed)

YAY! Cool! ConTeXt MkIV / LuaTeX makes itself seriously interesting for a sixth of mankind.
I'll happily serve as a guinea pig / tester.

Is this still planned? I would love to be able to use LuaTeX for say
Kannada or Telugu typesetting.

Sure. Most relevant data is already present, we only need to add a
special case.
