what is the name of the command to typeset the symbol "SectionMark", "Paragraph", "SectionSign" or how is is called correctly? The symbol which looks like:

(Typeset by \textsection in LaTeX.)

in mkiv there should be no need to use a macro. you can type it in (more
or less) directly. i use babelmap on windows to get the correct char/code.

there are probably similar programs for other os...
