Hello,
a user on it.comp.software.tex just discovered a bug in
handling footnotes when backgrounds are present. Brief example:

\setupfootnotes[rule=on]
\setupbackground[topoffset=7pt,bottomoffset=7pt]

\startbackground
La {\bf locomozione} è un tipo di spostamento reso possibile nell'uomo
dal movimento coordinato degli arti inferiori, degli arti superiori e da
movimenti di torsione del tronco\footnote{PAOLO CERRETELLI, Fisiologia
dell'esercizio, 2001}.

\placefootnotes
Possiamo facilmente comprendere come
questa descrizione rispecchi sia la meccanica della {\bf marcia} sia
quella della {\bf corsa}\footnote{Altro commento}.

The commented lines have been added by me during the testing;
indeed, local footnotes work, but standard footnotes don't. Any
ideas/solutions/whatever?
