Hallo,
I added a level (without numbering) to the existing sections; that works
fine. But I also need the ability to "limit" the \fullheadnumber
function, so that I get a correct numbering.
How can I "limit" \fullheadnumber to level 1-7, so that I get the needed
"1.1" in the second call in the following example?
Thanks, H.
---8<---------------------
\definesection[section-8]
\definehead[paragraphHead][][alternative=paragraphHead,number=no,section=section-8]
\starttext
\chapter{bla}
\section{bla}
I need: 1.1 - I get: \fullheadnumber
\paragraphHead{bla}
I need: 1.1 - I get: \fullheadnumber
\section{bla}
I need 1.2 - I get: \fullheadnumber
\stoptext

You want a number for this heading but you disable it with “number=no”.

I want that the heading of paragraphHead[level 8] is without number, but
I need the number[level 1-7] to use it in referencing (I need it for the
pararef module).
1. chapter -> [1.0.0.0.0.0.0.0] \unknownfunction -> 1
1.1 section -> [1.1.0.0.0.0.0.0] \unknownfunction -> 1.1
paragraphHead -> [1.1.0.0.0.0.0.1] \unknownfunction -> 1.1
1.2. section -> [1.2.0.0.0.0.0.0] \unknownfunction -> 1.2
In three cases the needed function \unknownfunction similars
\fullheadnumber but because in the cases of level-8 > 0 (like third
line above) I need a function line \fullheadnumber[max-level-7]. My TeX
knowledge is not enough to solve that, so I am happy for any help :)
H.
