I think the xattr resides in the Apple command tools. Are you sure you have them?

Since I have a working (and backed up…) version 2024-01-18, there is no absolute necessity for me to update right now, but I wanted just to inform you about the issue I encountered. I wonder whether other MacOS users have had such a problem.
