All,
I've been using this construct a lot.
\startlinecorrection[blank]
\midaligned{\getbuffer[table]}
\stoplinecorrection
My thinking was that it put a blank before and after, but now I am
not sure.
Am I missing something?

It is my understanding that the baselinecorrection environment
makes sure that its contents fit on a whole number of grid lines,
then inserts any skips [#1] before and after.
Cheers,
Taco
