Subject: mmlprime.pdf - missing entities
Date: Fri, 5 Apr 2002 10:00:42 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <AOEKJPDCEFOEIMLDJPBDAEJNCDAA.hensh@math.msu.edu> (raw)
I've been perusing MathML (primer?) document (10/26/2001). Under the
'entities' sections there are pages and pages of entity references.
Unfortunately, most of the referenced symbols do not appear in the pdf
file...at least on my machine. Is there something that I need to install on
my desktop?
I've also been experimenting with the "Universal MathML stylesheet" (see
http://www.w3.org/Math/XSL/). Working locally (using the latest version of
IE6 on a Win2K_sp2 machine), I am unable to render symbols such as
<mo>−</mo> or <mo>∫</mo> while specifying
pref:renderer="css".
I realize that this second issue should probably be directed to another list
but I thought that the two issues might somehow be related. Can anyone help?
thanks
ricky
