For example: Test \crlf (1) inverse $b\rightarrow b^{-1}$ \crlf (2) inverse $b\rightarrow b^{-1}$\hfill\null \crlf (3) inverse $b\rightarrow b^{-1}$ In line (1) extra white is introduced around the white arrow. In line (2) the fix is given, allthough not a problem ii is a nuisance. In line (3) one sees it is the \crlf that lets the math expand because here no extra white. Is this a feature or has this phenomenon escaped attention hitherto? Hans van der Meer
