Using forms and saving values

I have –simplified– the following:
\starttext

\defineframed
  [action]
  [width=5cm, height=3cm, offset=none, frameoffset=.5\linewidth]

\action{}

\stoptext

What I would like to do is to let the user input some text and display it in
this frame. (In reality there will be more frames.) When the text is to big
to be displayed in the frame, it should be rejected.

This is so that the document can be modified with the text from the user.

I also would like to save the input from the user in a file, so that it can
be used later again.

Is this possible?

Thanks I will look at it.

It is a document from 1998 and it is said it will be udated. Nothing has
changed?

strange. the error here is caused by the undefined '\DVI' macro
(outdated context from 26.01.2011). loading the right module (preferred)
or using a separate definition should solve this.

is your fault caused by an undefined '\fillinfield' then?
you can test it by replacing the '\DVI' macro with the text 'DVI'.

Does still not work:

Or do you mean that \fillinfield is not defined. Which module should I use
for this then?

yes, '\fillinfield' is not defined somehow. but the needed module
'scrn-fld.mkiv' should be loaded automatically in 'context.mkiv'.

can you locate the file with

 mtxrun.exe --locate scrn-fld.mkiv

No, because I use Linux.
I tried:
    find ~/ConTeXt -name scrn-fld.mkiv

But this did find nothing.

I also tried:
    find ~/ConTeXt -name '*fld*'

This gives:

No, “mkvi” is a valid file extension for MkIV. The difference between
a mkiv and a mkvi file is that you can use named parameters, e.g.

  \def\command#1#2{#1 : #2}

can be written in a mkvi file as

  \def\command#first#second{#first : #second}

I changed the page about the page about \fillinfield. Does not look
very good, but better something as nothing.

So the next versions will be mkix, mkxi, mkxv, mkxx, mkxl, mkli, mklv, and 
mkxc. It is gonig to get confusing real soon :)

BTW, does anyone has a minimal example on how to use mkvi syntax. I tried 
a few examples, but the best that I could do was using one of the mtx-* 
scripts to convert mkvi to tex (And that conversion does not work for 
\starttextdefinition ... \stoptexdefinition).
