Hi,

Is there a special place to report bugs ?

I have noticed that align=right aligns text on the left edge of a frame
where it should align left as it says (and left aligns right).

Is this normal ?

Sure. Think of it as ragged-right and ragged-left. This is one of the
first questions in all ConTeXt FAQs, it has deep historical reasons, and
it constantly confuses beginners :-)

yes, historic reasons: raggedright = right

you can use flushleft flushright if you like them more

If nothing important has crept past me, being the first question in
all ConTeXt FAQs is something trivially true, given the number of
ConTeXt FAQs in existence. :-))

You're a mathematician, aren't you :-))))) Have a look at
http://contextgarden.net/, great material is there.

And this is documented in http://contextgarden.net/Right_and_left,
nevertheless, you're right, it isn't an FAQ :-)

but it qualifies as CAQ: constantly asked question and an WPA (Wiki Provided

The Wiki is missing the command that switches left/right to
proper behavior. Which was that?

I was pretty sure it wasn't a bug, at least not the big ones you see when
you have holidays in Africa ;)

Anyway, it would be great to be able to switch that to proper behaviour.

Could anyone answer my second question which is :

Is there any place to report bugs ..

and are there release notes for new context versions ?

Hello Dirar,

> Could anyone answer my second question which is :

> Is there any place to report bugs ..

Tobias (it was Tobias, wasn't it?) once setup a bugzilla site for
ConTeXt. But I guess it was never really used. And no ther are no
places besides the mailinglist to report bugs.

> and are there release notes for new context versions ?

Taco does an excellent job on this: goto
http://contextgarden.net/Release_Notes and see what is there. (And
many many thanks to Taco for this!)

Thanks all.

Would be nice to know how to switch the left and right keywords to do the
opposite of what it does now.

there is a switcj but it would spoil the use of modules,

you can use flushleft and flushright as alternatives
