Ok, I take it partially back: If I have just one standalone document, the o= utput is ok. So the problem is mostly in the combination of export with project structur= e. But =85 please see below. Minimal succeeding example: =97=97=97 % \setupbackend[export=3Dexport.xml] \settaggedmetadata[ title=3D{Export Test Solo}, author=3D{Hraban}, version=3D\currentdate % why that doesn=92t work? ] \starttext \startchapter[title=3D{Chapter One}] \startsection[title=3D{Section One}] \input tufte \stopsection \startsection[title=3D{Section Two}] \input knuth \stopsection \stopchapter \stoptext =97=97=97 gives = =97=97=97 Hraban Export Test Solo \currentdate

1.1 = Section One = We thrive in information--thick worlds because of our marvelous and everyda= y capacity to select, edit, single out, structure, highlight, group, pair, = merge, harmonize, synthesize, focus, organize, condense, reduce, boil down,= choose, categorize, catalog, classify, list, abstract, scan, look into, id= ealize, isolate, discriminate, distinguish, screen, pigeonhole, pick over, = sort, integrate, blend, inspect, filter, lump, skip, smooth, chunk, average= , approximate, cluster, aggregate, outline, summarize, itemize, review, dip= into, flip through, browse, glance into, leaf through, skim, refine, enume= rate, glean, synopsize, winnow the wheat from the chaff and separate the sh= eep from the goats.
1.2 = Section Two = Thus, I came to the conclusion that the designer of a new system must not o= nly be the implementer and first large--scale user; the designer should als= o write the first user manual. The separation of any of these four components would have hurt TEX signific= antly. If I had not participated fully in all these activities, literally h= undreds of improvements would never have been made, because I would never h= ave thought of them or perceived why they were important. But a system cannot be successful if it is too strongly influenced by a sin= gle person. Once the initial design is complete and fairly robust, the real= test begins as people with many different viewpoints undertake their own e= xperiments.
=97=97=97 The wiki page about ePub says, it should be possible to define metadata in = \setupexport like this: \setupexport[ firstpage=3D{koe.pdf}, title=3D{My Fine Title}, ] But that is completely ignored - it does neither show up in the export, nor= in a produced ePub. If I include an image with \externalfigure[koe][width=3D\textwidth], I get = in export: <= /image> That=92s not really usable without file extension. In my case, it was even = a GIF =84giraffe.gif=93 that got converted to =84m_k_i_v_giraffe.gif.pdf=93= . Would it be possible to set the actually used file name as an additional at= tribute in ? I=92ll document the issues with export in project structure in my next post.
