The latest ConTeXt MKIV (standalone) does not produce footnotes.<div><br></div><div><div>\startcomponent</div><div>Stuff\footnote{a note.}</div><div>\stopcomponent</div></div><div><br></div><div>This will show “Stuff” with a footnote call but no footnote appears at the bottom of the page.</div>
