Thanks a lot for the example. = It works great in most cases, however what I stumbled upon is with the inte= rval notation, in particular the following cases arise:

- closed = interval: easy, since the delimiters are [... ; ... ]

- open inte= rval: not easy, since the delimiters are ]... ; ... [ (or with a parenthesi= s as in the US, but there it works)

- semi open interval: not eas= y, since the delimiters are either [... ; ... [ or ]... ; ...] (or in the U= S [...; ...) or (... ; ...])

I guess there is a ne= ed for a special definition for these. Maybe they're already in the wor= ks...

By the way, if I define in the preamble \aut= ofences, is there a command to disable it locally? Would be very helpful to= deal with the above situations.
