Hi,
Mu current chapter setup is as below:
\def\HeadTitle#1#2%
{\hbox to \hsize \bgroup
\hfill
\setupframed[offset=.5em,frame=off]
\tbox{\framed[width=3cm,align=left]{#1}}%
\tbox{\framed[width=4cm,align=right,leftframe=on]{#2}}%
\egroup}
\setuphead [chapter]
[color=green1,
textstyle=,
align=normal,
continue=no,
page=right,
style=\tfc,
before={\blank[2*big]},
after={\blank[2*big]},
command=\HeadTitle]
I want a local TOC after each chapter title. If I manually put
\placelist[section][criterium=chapter]
immediately after \chapter command then it does not work. Please help.

Best regards,
Shiv Shankar Dayal

Hi Shiv!
For your next posts please
∙ Provide a meaningful subject, not just “Need help”.
E.g. “Local TOC after each chapter title”
∙ Provide a MWE, a minimal *working* example. A small code snippet
that compiles and demonstrates you problem. That way you increase
the chance of getting an answer by magnitudes.
∙ Be specific! “Does not work” doesn't say much. State clearly what
you expect and what you got instead. E.g. TOC does not show up on
the page, leads to compilation error: “Undefined control
sequence”, TOC is not centred, etc.

How about this:
\setuphead
[chapter]
[after=\placecontent]
\starttext
\startchapter [title=Foo]
\startsection [title=First A]
\input knuth
\stopsection
\startsection [title=First B]
\input knuth
\stopsection
\stopchapter
\startchapter [title=Bar]
\startsection [title=Second A]
\input knuth
\stopsection
\startsection [title=Second B]
\input knuth
\stopsection
\input zapf
\stopchapter
\stoptext

When you use the start/stop-commands you can use “insidesection=…” which comes after the “after” key.

Nice, I didn't know that one, yet. Wikified under \setupheads.

I searched for "insidesection" on this garden's page ...
http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Command/setuphead
... but couldn't find it. Is there yet another page for \setupheads?

Technically the command belongs to \setupheads, not to \setuphead.
However, in practice it is unlikely that one wants to apply
insidesection to all structures, I agree.

It takes a while for the garden to refresh the search index. Now you
can find it by typing “insidesection” in the search box.

In mkiv we use a different cloning model and as a consequence the plural
setup commands are sort of redundant in which case they are aliased to
the singular variant. However, the plural form is somewhat more intuitive.
