Since Taco is busy, I'll try to speak for him and hope he doesn't kill
me!
As I said, I haven't used the module much, because I haven't as yet
switched to using ConTeXt for academic writing. If you look through
the list archive, IIRC, there are a few comments from Taco relating to
this.
One big reason I guess it's not included yet is that v2 of the module
will be new and XML based, and apparently more easy to keep in sync
with ConTeXt as a whole (which I think is difficult now).
