I am trying to follow the problems my typescripts create in mkiv.
Using the \writestatus{}{} it turned out that its output to the  
console is delayed. And because the process seems to have entered an  
endless loop, I cannot zoom in on the error. The .log file turned out  
to be empty to.

Is there a better solution?
