Adding line numbers to all pages?

Adding line numbers to all pages?

Dear All,

Is there a simple way to add line numbers to the margin of each page of a document? They should recommence at 1 on every page,
and either omit formulas or handle them “gracefully”. I’d be happy to have any ad-hoc solution.
