\setupbodyfont[cambria,rm,12pt]
\starttext
{\bf λ}% <------ !!!
${\mathupright a}= 1$
${\mathupright\bf a}= 1$
${\mathupright λ}= 1$
${\mathupright\bf λ}= 1$
\stoptext
... there is a bug in math bold, no?
