I've tried setnu.el, setnu+.el (or somesuch), and as soon as you add
lines in the midst of a paragraph and then make emacs refill the
paragraph, line numbers will not work anymore. It's especially
annoying when you yank a number of lines into a paragraph. That's
wrong with this solution. Vim is impeccable in this regard.
