Based on info from this list and code in enco-xxx files, \definesortkey should be the solution. It seems that there is defined some sorting order for polish language. However when I try to adapt this approach to czech it doesn't influence sorting order and index entries starting with accented characters. Could someone provide leads how to govern proper sorting of accented entries in registers? Thanks. Peter Ferdus
