Hi,
Since under win i run active state perl, i have also installed it under
linux [since it has a great module manager and i want to test some new
context functionality] [v 5.6]
I have SuSE linux, and added the path to profile.local, but somehow only su
[super user] sees the new version and although the new perl is in the path,
before other bins, the old perl is run. Are there suse users who can direct
me?
Hans

1. Try the which command
$ which perl
You can see which perl is run.
2. Echo the PATH var:
$ echo $PATH
so you can actually see what is in the path.
Send the results to me (or the list).
Gilbert.
