Hello,
did someone find a solution for this problem?
I have the same problem with \startbackmatter, here a test file:
\setupheadertexts[\currentpage/\lastpage]
\starttext
\startfrontmatter
hello
\stopfrontmatter
\startbodymatter
hello
\stopbodymatter
\startbackmatter
hello
\stopbackmatter
\stoptext
Cheers, Peter
