Hello,
I've written an rpm-spec file for teTeX.
Please feel free to test it and to send me comments and/or patches!

For those, who are interested, I could provide in a few days binary
packages (about 117 MB) built on SuSE-Linux (9.0, 10.0 or 10.1).
