I've installed the out-of-the-box tetex that comes with SuSE (based on teTeX-0.9something) without ConTeXt, and then downloaded ConTeXt from PRAGMA-ADE. LaTeX and pdflatex seem to be working correctly. When I try to run texexec.pl --make en I get fmtutil: config file `fmtutil.cnf' not found. ! I can't read tex.pool; bad path? executable : pdftex format(s) : en Any clues? Other installations I have don't have a fmtutil.cnf but also don't complain that its missing. What's the tex.pool? Or is that error a consequence of not finding fmtutil.cnf? - Matt -- Dr. Matthew Baker matthew.baker@gmd.de GMD - FIT.MMK http://fit.gmd.de/hci/pages/matthew.baker.html
