Hello,
The following test file doesn't give bold sections no more with latest beta:
\definetypeface[boldmath][mm][boldmath][modern]
\setuphead[section][style=\boldmath\rm\bfb]
\starttext
\section{bla $bla$}
bla
\stoptext
Could you help please?
