Having a font as part of the distro is a convinience, but normally, I just
add (or git clone or svn checkout) the fonts that I use in
$HOME/texmf/fonts/opentype/
and sync $HOME/texmf across computers with dropbox. So, it is not a big
deal if a font is not part of TL.
