For example, if you write Carrots are good for your eyes since they contain Vitamin A. Have you seen any rabbits wearing glasses? TeX considers the period (.) terminates an abbreviation and uses inter-word space rather than inter-sentence space. In LaTeX, it is recommened that one writes this as Carrots are good for your eyes since they contain Vitamin A\@. Have you seen any rabbits wearing glasses?
