[-- Attachment #1.1: Type: text/plain, Size: 373 bytes --]

Hi,

I am trying to use \xmlfirst to find a reference that is not in the current
node. In the manual there is the exmple:
{\xmlfirst
  {example-3-1}
  {div[@class='footnotes']/ol/li[@id='\xmlrefatt{#1}{href}']}}

This is quite close to what I need, but I am not processing a buffer. How
can I use this lookup mechanism to look over the current file/all nodes?

Best,
Denis

if you have a master doc you can use an \xmlinclude at the beginning of
the setups chain to merge the standalone files into that master doc so
that you get one tree and then access that one only
