Hi Tommaso,

in the next sample, replace TeX Gyre Pagella with the font family name
and it will work fine:

  \definefontfeature
    [default]
    [default]
    [expansion=quality,protrusion=quality]
  \definefontfamily[mainface][rm][TeX Gyre Pagella]
  \setupbodyfont[mainface]
  \setupalign[hz,hanging]
  \starttext
  \input{zapf}
  \stoptext
