Subject: Problem installing ConTeXt Minimals
Date: Sat, 21 Jun 2008 07:06:27 +0300	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <ee1daa530806202106q1bc95db1jb4e7b91cd0b80a8@mail.gmail.com> (raw)

I've been trying to install ConTeXt Minimals to my other computer but
I just can't get it to work. Installer exits with Error Code 1 and the
first-setup.bat from the command line tools doesn't seem to get the
required files either (after the script has run the folder is about
6.5Mb).

I've installed Ruby, Perl, GhostScript and rsync as required. This
might be a firewall issue but I couldn't find any notion of opening
ports from installation instructions and with quick Googling I got the
impressions that it shouldn't be required to open ports for rsync.

So, can I fix this by opening something from my firewall or is the
problem somewhere else? What exactly does that Error Code 1 mean?

Thanks,
Tomi Lindberg
