Hi Hans,

from typo-dif.mkxl, lines 16-17:

> % Currently only a color can be set but I might add support for underline

Would it be possible to have simple (color) background implemented?

After comparing texts, I realize that when few chars differ (or even
only one), it is harder to notice.

Colored background (with even white foreground color) is far easier to
notice.

Many thanks for your help,

Pablo

much is possible but before i mess up the code with that we need to be
sure about variants and that's something we're still exploring

also, right now i'm in a "context squid" mode (for the upcoming meeting)

but also quite ugly (and it will add runtime)

Hans

Many thanks for the reply, Hans.

Good to know that you are in another mode.

This will be (and has to be) ugly, but this isn’t standard typesetting
at all (colored single characters also serve a a purpose).

Many thanks for your help,

Pablo
