It works fine. The headings I define in the following way (also above \starttext): \setuphead[chapter][alternative=3Dinmargin,letter=3D{\switchtobodyfont[16p= t,ss]\ bf}] \setuphead[section][alternative=3Dinmargin,letter=3D{\switchtobodyfont[14p= t,ss]\ bf}] \setuphead[subsection][alternative=3Dinmargin,letter=3D{\switchtobodyfont[= 12pt,s s]\bf}] When I use <> I get many messages that means: it wou= ld be better to define the bodyfont global. How can I do that?
