No problem here with
This is LuaTeX, Version snapshot-0.30.1-2008100915, build unknown
# context --version
MtxRun | main context file:
/opt/luatex/tex/texmf-local/tex/context/base/context.tex
MtxRun | current version: 2008.08.05 18:47

But  the same
MtxRun | fatal error, message: luatex: execution interrupted
with minimals.
A mplib  problem ?
