Dear syndicate,
For looong footnotes it would be nice to have \start-\stop footnotes for
easier editing, but these are not defined in ConTeXt. So I tried
============================
\definestartstop
[footnote]
[before=\footnote\bgroup,
after=\egroup]
\startbuffer[footnote]%
test test test test test test test test
\footnote{This is a basic footnote.}
test test test test test test test test
\footnote{This is another basic footnote.}
test test test test test test test test test test test test test.
\startfootnote
Here is a footnote environment.
\stopfootnote
\stopbuffer
{\typebuffer[footnote] \getbuffer[footnote]} \page
============================
But this does nothing.
[before=\footnote{,
after=}]
does not work either (and is not equivalent to (b/e}group). Please advise!
Best
Idris
