I didn't notice the http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Table#Column_Spans. I've also experimented with \TWO and similar, but I thought they were to be= used like \TWO{some text}. I didn't know anything about \use, \Use or \ReFormat. And I also did not get the feeling that \starttable is getting deprecated a= nd \bTABLE is to be used instead; I got the feeling that both are possible = and the \bTABLE usage is very similar to HTML construction - which = may be nice feature for someone, or when dealing with XML. Hope I'll be more lucky finding answers myself before posting them to the m= ailing list.
