Dear gang,
I need your help. If anyone is using a recent mswincontext.zip, could you
check the dvipdfmx executable with the attached test, spec, and eps
file.
The problem here is that dvipdfmx freezes when processing fig-test.dvi.
I'm trying to determine if this is due to a misconfiguration on my part or
whether this is a mswincontext problem. I HOPE it's an mswincontext problem
because I have no idea where the misconfiguration can be. Note the modified
spec-dpx file. Just place it in the working directory (per ChoF's
instructions).
I appreciate anyone's help: this is critical because I have a late journal
issue that depends on the aleph-dvipfmx cycle.
Thnx in advance and all the
Best
Idris

Dear Profesor Hamid
I attach the dvi and log files which were output from the latest
mswincontext which I use. I normally output to pdf so I'm not sure if the
dvi output should look like it does. It doesn't look correct to me but that
just might be my setup. I consider myself still to be a Context learner. If
you need any other info let me know.
Best Wishes

Professor
In my previous post the fig-test.tex file I used was as below
output=dvipdfmx
\input spec-dpx.tex
\starttext
test
\blank
\externalfigure[534-b][width=2cm]
\stoptext
I have now repeated the test with the file you posted which was:
%output=dvipdfmx
\input spec-dpx.tex
\starttext
test
\blank
\externalfigure[534-b][width=2cm]
\stoptext
The attached files are the output and log files.
I did say I was a learner!!
Keith

This should be
\externalfigure[534][width=2cm]
Then run
============================

Thanks again
