Hello all,

I'm new to ConTeXt and as a first exercise wanted to check
proper font installation.

To see whether Helvetica can be used I tried:

\definefontsynonym [Helvetica] [phvr8r] [encoding=8r]
\definefont [MyFont] [Helvetica]

\starttext
\MyFont Hello again.
\stoptext

Is this correct as the shortest possible font usage test?

The font doesn't seem to be used.
LaTeX run's fine with "\renewcommand}{\familydefault}{phv}" though.

Thanks for your help

Axel
