how to convert html to md as pipe table

here's the html code:

<table> 
    <tr> 
        <td>1</td> 
        <td>2</td> 
        <td>3</td> 
    </tr> 
    <tr> 
        <td>1</td> 
        <td>2</td> 
        <td>3</td> 
    </tr> 
</table>
when I use the args convert html to markdown:
*       --to markdown+pipe_tables*
the table will be simple table.
on the other hand, when the args with strict:
*       --to markdown_strict+pipe_tables*
the table is pipe table, but the code lost languange highlight.
so how to deal with it?
