Apologies if this is answered somewhere else.

I would like to be able to use an acronym package in LaTeX, such as
glossaries, for managing acronyms. However, I often need convert from tex
to docx or odt to share with others and the acronyms do not convert
properly. Maybe I am missing something in my pandoc command or in my tex.

When looking up acronyms and pandoc, I mostly find filters for using
acronyms in markdown so I assumed those wouldn't work for my situation.

I did find this panflute filter for converting tex to odt, but have gotten
errors when trying to use it: https://gitlab.com/-/snippets/1880361

I'm not proficient in coding, so it's difficult for me to troubleshoot or
to know what filters might work for what I'm trying to do.

Thanks for any guidance.
