The clue was in=20 https://hackage.haskell.org/package/texmath-0.8.6.5/changelog where it=20 states "Fixed overbrace, underbrace (#82). Previously we were using the=20 wrong character: U+FE37 instead of U+23DE. This didn't work in Word."
