Convert multi-page markdown to PDF

There is a book where each Chapter is a separate file type chapter-01.md, 
chapter-02.md, etc. How do I convert a single PDF file? Can it be possible 
to use a table of contents file?

See in the User Guide the *Default file 
<https://pandoc.org/MANUAL.html#default-files>*, where you can list those 
separate files (in *"input-files:"* section).

You could also use the command line. Search the group, discussed more than 
once.
