Is there any way to break the raw tex passing of pandoc? I like to have a
two column layout, this is possible using pure latex but it is not possible
to include R then. The problem seems to be down to pandoc
https:
//support.rstudio.com/hc/communities/public/questions/202717656-Can-we-have-columns-in-rmarkdown-beamer-presentations-
. Any solution or work around would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Michaela
Minimal non working example:
## Slide
\begin{columns}
\begin{column}{.5\linewidth}
Nice Plot
\end{column}
\begin{column}{.5\linewidth}
```{r, echo=FALSE}
plot(cars)
```
\end{column}
\end{columns}
