I'm basically trying to pass raw_html into an html template file with a 
$body$ variable.

But even when i specify raw_html  in the from format, pandoc still mangles 
it by stripping away elements like section from landing.html.

Have I misunderstood something?

pandoc -f html+raw_html --metadata title="Lewis Campbell Technologies" 
--template=static/template.html -o www/index.html static/landing.html
