There's been lots of discussion on this list and the tracker about footnotes and endnotes... but my present need is simple.
Rather than a syntax for both, I just want generated docx files to use endnotes *instead* of footnotes for the bibliography.
Is this possible? Is there something I would do to a reference.docx to make that happen?

I don't think you can do this with a reference.docx.
Footnotes and endnotes have different internal
representations in docx.

So it sounds like I'll have to manually convert them for each chapter of my book until issue #4042 is resolved/merged?
