I usually just ran the following command:

pandoc nameofile.md --citeproc -o nameofile.docx

But today I was working with a particular .md file and after I finished 
with it I tried to convert it, but the title, date and author parameters 
that go inside the YAML block aren't converted, they display like this:

title: title of the document
author: myname
date: today

But just in that format, not like it used to do. And also the tables aren't 
formatted, they and up in the docs like this:

p t
r 2
1 2
2 2

Just to say an example. I don't know hat happened.
