By permission of the contributors, I have relicensed
pandoc-types as BSD3. pandoc itself will remain
GPL-licensed, but this change will make it possible for
BSD3-licensed libraries to create interfaces with pandoc.

For example, a BSD3-licensed CommonMark library could
include a module that converts its own AST into a
Pandoc structure, so that it could be used with all
of Pandoc's writers. And a BSD3-licensed text processing
program could be made to accept input or generate output
in pandoc-JSON, so it could be used with pandoc in a pipe.

John

Can you update github (and maybe Hackage) to reflect this? I'm
preparing a first release of a filter, diagrams-pandoc[1], which I'd
prefer to license BSD3 to match other Diagrams packages.

I can make a pull request if that would help.

Thanks,
