I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there's some trick I'm missing
to make footnote citations hyperlink to their corresponding entry in the
references section of a PDF? I get a link, but only to the references
*section* and not to the specific entry.

I have `link-citations: true` in the YAML, along with the relevant bib
info. I'm using current builds of pandoc and pandoc-citeproc. I use xelatex.

Thanks!

As the man page says, link-citations only works with
author-date and numerical styles.

Thanks John. Sorry if I wasn't being clear. I am using author-date. But the
link is only to the reference section, not the particular reference. Is
this normal functioning?

It should be to the precise reference. Perhaps you could
give a short example with all the files needed to reproduce.
