I see that numerous people have asked a similar question. At the risk of annoying you LaTeX experts, the problem is, as I have expressed before, that LaTeX is a truly awful language.

Which resonates deeply with my personal feelings about latex.

Could you please share a minimal reproducible example (MRE) or the document you are working on?
My guess is that you have somehow produced broken tex code, but I'm not sure how.

When converting a markdown document to PDF using Pandoc, I get an error saying:

! LaTeX Error: Too deeply nested.

According to some documentation and discussions, this error relates to nested lists, however I am not using any nested list. What else might cause this issue?
